Heating element type MElectric heating element type M is unique in that its cold zones are at 90 degrees to the hot zone, allowing for mounting in almost any position where there is difficulty in heating areas such as furnace doors. M type elements can easily be adjusted to increase or decrease the distance between the hot zone and the product being heated. Electrical specifications for the type M are the same as for type E of the same size. Maximum furnace temperature is 1400°C. Other configurations are available upon request such as: Heating element type UWithin the range there are standard elements and ones with a higher nominal resistance. These higher resistance elements can also be supplied for the U type. This type of element is widely used where efficiency and reliability are required. This element type allows for a more even heat distribution, greater surface area and potential power for a given hot zone. Heating element type SDLThis type of element gives a more accurate heat distribution within the furnace. It's constructed using two hot zones with non heating zones located in the middle of the element. This is a cost effective way of heat distribution. Heating element type DTEF GlowbarCommonly referred to as the Dumbbell Type, it is the forerunner to the current, preferred, equal diameter types and is usually only supplied as spare parts for existing furnaces. |
